MARY, MOTHER OF GOOD COUNSEL PARISH AND SCHOOL DONATE TO LEGACY OF HOPE PROJECT.

On the 30th of May 2024 a donation was made to the Archbishop of Accra for the Legacy of Hope Project.
An amount of Ghs 50,000 from the annual Wednesday school offerings for a year, Lenten boxes of school children and Lenten boxes from the Parish were put together to support the Project.
It will be recalled that last year 2023, Ghs 25,000 was presented to the Legacy of Hope project.
The cheque was presented to Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, CSSp., Metropolitan Archbishop of the Accra Archdiocese and founder of the Legacy of Hope Project. He received the donation on behalf of the management committee of the project.
Speaking at the event, Rev. Fr. Thomas Betuyre and headmistress, Sr. Francisca Asiedua Appiah (HDR) expressed their pride in the parish and the school children for their efforts and emphasized the importance of giving back to society.
They encouraged the children and the parish to continue to show kindness and generosity. In attendance were the PTA chairman and some teachers from the school.
The Legacy of Hope project is a significant project being undertaken by the Accra Archdiocese under the leadership of Archbishop John Bonaventure Kwofie CSSp.
It is our hope that the widows might from the parish and the school will go a long way to see the completion of the project.
